antonio carroccio Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 Somewhere in Holland, is somebody who has connection with the deliver farm for the light weight wheels. I have asked him if there is some l.w.w. for Moto Guzzi V11. Is there not. But…it’s possible to contact this deliver farm and try to let make a couple of wheels. Somebody does have interest? Price, around 1000,- Euro a pair.

Paul Minnaert Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 The breaking wheels are cheap. I have not found any weight number. I know that they can be made fitting in a guzzi, but without cush drive. If your connection could bring breaking to make a series direct fitting wheels there is a market. For that price the brake disks are included! here is the example
As you know Paul, my Deutsch is very, very bad, but I think is here in this specification something as a cush. Ruckdämpfer. This is a cush, or not?!

The way I read it is that the "Rückdämpfer" (cush drive) comes with the rear sprocket, which we don't need... But not a bad price!
zebulon Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 If cush drive include for v11 you could count on me for one set at least
Paul Minnaert Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 yes there is a cush, but thats for the chaindriven bikes. Fos a guzzi they would have to make a different wheel
tikkanen Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 1000 Euros is a real bargain - you can't get a pair of lightweight wheels any cheaper FWIW. If the company can make a cush drive for the V11 I'm in. Thanks Antonio! Søren
antonio carroccio Posted September 29, 2007 Author Posted September 29, 2007 Don't rush boys, at the moment it's only an idea. If it works we can make some deal.
Paul Minnaert Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 The front wheel has a special way to mount disks. But it has road approval, so should be safe. But no other disks will fit to these wheels. http://img258.imageshack.us/img258/1697/img835io4.jpg
rocker59 Posted September 30, 2007 Posted September 30, 2007 So are these wheels currently available to fit the non-cush Sport 1100 ??? If so, what size is the rear ??? Very interesting !!!
Paul Minnaert Posted September 30, 2007 Posted September 30, 2007 from braking nothing is available that fits a guzzi out of the box. The blue sport1100 wheels are adapted by dynotec in germany. So I suppose they can deliver a set fitting in your sport 1100. It has a 5.5 rear, so 180 wide tyre. It looks nice in the middle here: http://img258.imageshack.us/img258/8376/11oosport3zq0.jpg
Murray Posted October 8, 2007 Posted October 8, 2007 Think I would prefere a 160. The 1100 sports are exactly the quickest turning things around.
