slowkitty Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 Good read; and I read twice the part about "using the clutch for stopping and moving" .... clutchless gear changes?!!!!! Cheers Cat
Guest Phil_P Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 Get your revs right and clutchless gear changes are just as smooth as clutched ones. Sometimes I even do it in the car too, both up and down the box.
Guzzista_Joe Posted October 4, 2007 Author Posted October 4, 2007 ...sadly, on the Jackal you can't do clutchless gear changes, but on my X-11, I never use the clutch to go up through the gears..works a treat, and means you make far better progress through the gears...it's faaaar smoother than by using the clutch! I think the modern Guzzi box permits this type of gear change.
