That's great

On an August morning in 1978, French filmmaker Claude Lelouch mounted a gyro-stabilized camera to the bumper of a Ferrari 275 GTB and had a friend, a professional Formula 1 racer, drive at breakneck speed through the heart of Paris.

It has recently been admitted that this was not any kind of sports car I think it was a puegot that the camera was attached to then the film was speeded up to give the impression of speed.

Still a pretty good job of editing. Most of the ancillary stuff (pedestrians, turn signals on other vehicles, pigeons) does not seem to be moving terribly fast as it would in sped up film. The motor sounds fit too.
