Guest drknow Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 Stogiebill: I've found one RAM for the Sports that I can get you. If interested, please PM me. Everybody else: I can provide the cut down, balanced and refurbed steel flywheels with fiber friction plates for about $550, which includes everything needed to bolt them up, from the trans input hub atthe back to the flywheel bolts at the front. It's more expensive than I thought it would be, but if any of you are interested, let me know. It's worth it! It's lighter than the stock Scura clutch with the sweet single plate clutch action. Compared to a V11 with the standard twin plate clutch, the bike feels like it lost 50 lbs!
stogieBill Posted November 2, 2007 Author Posted November 2, 2007 Hello John-Mark, Are you saying the Ram after market clutch and flywheel are worth the $ or are you referring to the cut down steel flywheel and single plate clutch?
Guest drknow Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 Hello John-Mark, Are you saying the Ram after market clutch and flywheel are worth the $ or are you referring to the cut down steel flywheel and single plate clutch? The Cut down single plate steel unit. Sorry for the confusion. That's what I did after my Scura flywheel went bang. It was noticeably faster revving, and accelerated harder. What a great update. For you guys with standard V11 clutches, this would be a major transformation.
stogieBill Posted November 2, 2007 Author Posted November 2, 2007 Greg, I've PM'd you and called MI and left a message. Unless the Ram unit is substantially cheaper, I'd prefer to go with the cutdown steel flywheel and single plate. I'm ready whenever you are. Thanks.

Greg, Would this fit any 5 speed too? KB
stogieBill Posted November 13, 2007 Author Posted November 13, 2007 Hey Greg, Is there anything new to report on the turned steel flywheels and single plate clutches you were going to offer? Thanks
Morris Sod Posted November 29, 2007 Posted November 29, 2007 Hey Greg. I'd be most interested in the replacement clutch for a Rosso Mandello, that is if you would ship to Aus. Could you post an update on this option, please. Thanks Morris
