richard100t Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 I just bought a moto guzzi windscreen on ebay that looks like it came off a California model. Trouble is I need different mounting brackets to make it fit. If anyone has some experience with doing this any how to's would be very much appreciated. TIA the part # on the shield is 32577311
richard100t Posted November 4, 2007 Author Posted November 4, 2007 Ok time to update. Today I made the brackets out of aircraft grade aluminum. The windshield fits the bike very well & the wind protection & comfort is great. It also really looks great. I have some sanding & painting to do to the brackets but other than that I'm happy with it. I'll post some pictures of the brackets in a few days. All I needed to do the job was a hacksaw, a vise, a power drill & a little duct tape. I wrapped the tape around the ends to prevent scratching the plastic. Oh & I also used pliers to twist the brackets into the right shape.
richard100t Posted November 10, 2007 Author Posted November 10, 2007 As you can see...I've figured this out lol
