New Aprilia SMV750- competitor to the new F800GS? Which would you prefer?

It depends on how it effects my bank account.

The BMW might get about 20 more miles per gallon, which over the life of the bike could be a lot of money, but the power and weight of the Aprilia should make it one of the funnest bikes on Earth.

The GS is a both a great touring and capable off road bike, but I am not sure I would like the Aprilia as much for the long haul. YMMV

I like the Morini. That's wonderfull news for me. Morini has made a good bike. I prefer this one than the street bikes...

I agree with you on this one. The GS is a great bike and the F800 gets my vote for best all around, that V twin of the Aprilia hangs out there to much for some of the places I go. The F800 will replace the F650 GS which BMW has discontiued.
