...how difficult would it be to set one up? get all the dealers involved, the local marketing arm, the owners and enthusiasts clubs...St John ambulance, the London School of models...etc etc...

I always enjoy the Cycle World shows here in the U.S.

They always have all the top apparal & accesories people there showing the new stuff & selling it for less than retail too. Of course, like in Britain, they gouge you for parking lol.

 

 

I usually attend the CW show as well. It is usually in Febuary here in Chicago. By then I'm jonesing for anything motorcycle so I'll pay whatever they ask for entry & parking.

The last two years Triumph has opted out of the show.
