Guest NotRight Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 and i thought the germans were leaders...now all this.. and chinese made BMW'S NOW! GOOD! but i hope they decrease the prices to suite. Hmmm... maybe they will reduce the price but not likely until the competition forces it. See at the moment making the bike in China is a "cost reduction" = that means you pay the same price while BMW pockets more..... or so they think. Someday possibly a kid might add up the true hidden costs of having it made in a low labor cost country. The endless meetings of upper level management to sort out problems over there that we already solved at home costs money...but that isn't as shiny as the quotation from the supplier in the eyes of bean counters. man I'm a real grouch ain't I?
