stradadoc Posted December 24, 2007 Posted December 24, 2007 I have an '02 LeMans, reasonably new to me. The turn signals are very, very slow. Not that big of a deal at a stoplight, but really useless for lane change signalling. Any thoughts on how to correct?
JoeV11 Posted December 24, 2007 Posted December 24, 2007 Hi Stradadoc Usually slow signals are caused by the blinker = did someone change to LED signals? Joe
stradadoc Posted December 24, 2007 Author Posted December 24, 2007 Hi Stradadoc Usually slow signals are caused by the blinker = did someone change to LED signals? Joe There is a Hyperlite brake light added below the stock light. Think that's it? I guess I could unhook it to check, huh.
GuzziMoto Posted December 26, 2007 Posted December 26, 2007 Decreasing the current draw by switching to LED's speeds up the flash rate on mechanical blinkers. The flasher is probably bad. Easy fix.
docc Posted December 26, 2007 Posted December 26, 2007 Brake light shouldn't affect the turn signals. Low battery voltage would slow the signals at a stop. Check the voltage with a digital voltmeter. Let us know what you find . . .
antonio carroccio Posted December 30, 2007 Posted December 30, 2007 Usually slow signals are caused by the blinker relais! True! You can keep it at this way, or change the relais.
