I have an '02 LeMans, reasonably new to me. The turn signals are very, very slow. Not that big of a deal at a stoplight, but really useless for lane change signalling. Any thoughts on how to correct?

Hi Stradadoc

Usually slow signals are caused by the blinker = did someone change to LED signals?

There is a Hyperlite brake light added below the stock light. Think that's it? I guess I could unhook it to check, huh.

Decreasing the current draw by switching to LED's speeds up the flash rate on mechanical blinkers. The flasher is probably bad.

Easy fix.

Brake light shouldn't affect the turn signals.

Low battery voltage would slow the signals at a stop. Check the voltage with a digital voltmeter.
