Paul Minnaert Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 antonio, these are pvm wheels, and I think it's the same pair he used in the furia prototype and first mgs01 prototype. Same as my wheels.
Paul Minnaert Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 I think the tail is to thin, and to high, compared to the front of the bike. Tank and tail are very nice carved. But overal balance isn't ok. Where would the license plate and rearlight go?
belfastguzzi Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 I think the tail is to thin, and to high, compared to the front of the bike. Tank and tail are very nice carved. But overal balance isn't ok. Where would the license plate and rearlight go? Yes, I was going to say all those things. Not one of the better designs. The rear half doesn't belong. Too minimalist, too high.
coz1100 Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 you know crazy thing, I got this V11 sitting around in pieces. 6000 euros? whats that just shy of $10000....... hmmmmmm
antonio carroccio Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 you know crazy thing, I got this V11 sitting around in pieces. 6000 euros? whats that just shy of $10000....... hmmmmmm You know, Ghezzi does have children home and a lovely wife and he needs money for the family. Small factory...Just think about those children at home, crying for some bread, wife washing without wash machine...
coz1100 Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 oh thanks Antonio, thats what I needed. Guilt trip me into doing it..... ::sigh:: okay, what part of me can I sell to Medicin?
Murray Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 How about a MGS01 kit for the new 8V engine? On what Frame? the Griso frame is radically different to the MGS-01 the V11 is much closer.
rocker59 Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 and the 8v's high-mounted alternator is not supposed to fit into a spine-frame.
Murray Posted March 22, 2008 Posted March 22, 2008 I suppose you could hit Guzzi Bun up for some MGS replica body work as the "tank: on the MGS is only a cover and see if you can get it to fit. Serious project though to carry out on a brand new bike and there is still a remote possibility in 12 months time the factory will have a change of heart and make a "series". I guess it comes down to how badly you want one and weather it will look right as I think the griso is a much longer bike than the MGS. MGS has the same wheel base as the RSV Aprilia.
rocker59 Posted March 22, 2008 Posted March 22, 2008 Griso has a 61.2" wheelbase. (1554mm). MGS-01 has a 57.1" wheelbase. (1450mm). Four inches is a lot on a motorcycle.
Richard Posted March 22, 2008 Posted March 22, 2008 Where have the feed and return lines for the oil cooler disappeared to...?
