Slavomir Musilek (R.I.P.) Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 i am really worried... I went to local dealer (friends of mine) to order new valve covers... I wanted red ones like Rosso Corsa has. I was really stunned to hear that MG from now on supplies only grey ones. Month ago I asked for oil sump - the bottom part. Sorry fella, MG doen't supply that part anymore... my question: How it is on other dealers? Do you have problems ordering your parts? And another question, where can I get my valve covers!!!!!

Just buy some high temp automotive spray paint for the valve covers. They'll look just fine.As for the oil sump I'll leave that to the guys in Europe to give you the right salvage links.
Paul Minnaert Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 I told it here several times: guzzi sold most of the overstock to hmb-guzzi in germany, ask there. They have kept a small amout I suppose, but if a few guys before wanted red, then you are out of luck.
Slavomir Musilek (R.I.P.) Posted February 5, 2008 Author Posted February 5, 2008 hmb guzzi - no stock left Friend in Madello - sorry, haven't seen them for month... grrrrrr. Production ended in 2006. OMG. Pure Italy <_ src="%7B___base_url___%7D/uploads/emoticons/default_wacko.png" alt="">

roberto tenni Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 Your sump is part number 01003590 and is available from Guzzi for £68.35. Your dealer is right about the red rocker covers though.

Greg Field Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 Slavomir: I have one red cover in stock at Moto International. Maybe another dealer has one, too?
Paul Minnaert Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 greg, you never get 2 times the same color from guzzi. You know that :D A friend who wanted to buy a new grey cover for his v11 engine got every time a different shade of gray. Same partnumber
