hello everybody.

i have a problem at 3000rpm. the bike is making a sudden acceleration quickly followed by returning to its original revs. everything lasts less then one second. It is only happens around 3000 rpm in any gear. anyone knows something about this?

Thanks

Check the intake rubbers. Between Injector bodies and cylinders. If they are leaky, these could cause the problem. Do a forum search on "intake rubbers" lots of info.

Another wild guess: intermittent connection to the TPS sensor or loose attaching screws, that somehow only occurs at a specific vibration frequency (e.g. at 3,000 RPM)

How long since the last tune-up?

Setting the TPS and balancing the throttle bodies can be magic!

Never had a tuned-up. I checked the intake rubbers and looks ok. I have tighted a little bit the screws but that is all.... I guess the problem could be the tps sensor or maybe something else??

There's probably nothing wrong with it.

Try the tune up that's pinned at the top of this forum. It's magic. B)

heh :)

I have the same issue. Around 3000rpm sudden backfire and small "plop" from engine. Higher and lower revs are no problem. Interesting is, when you accelerate continuously from 2000rpm to 5000rpm, no problem. When cruising in the city at around 3000rpm it seems that Ecu unit doesn!t know what to do. Engine run behaviour is unstable. This happens only at 3000rmp.

Can it by my KN filter in original airbox? Can it be my Leo Vince Exhausts?

TPB is done, free-run revs are 1200rpm. What next?

I have still issues with voltage regulator (this one I have is not charging well on low revs, on higher revs everything is ok).
