Guzzista_Joe
Squadra Guzzista member Lloyd is from the south island of New Zealand. He'll be travelling around Europe this summer and, just to get in the spirit of things, he's preparing a really informative page for anyone who may wish to visit NZ for a biking trip. Lloyd is from the south island of NZ which is similar in area to that of England but is only inhabitted by 1 million people Lloyd refers to it as a biker's paradise and when you see his page I think you'll understand why! http://guzzista.wetpaint.com/page/New+Zeal...-+Bike+Paradise

I can't recommend the trip enough, great people, great roads and beautiful scenery. Lex
roberto tenni
I've driven round the north island on both a Harley and a 1957 Ford Prefect - very beautiful. I preferred the Prefect!
Mark909
We traveled around the South Island a couple of years ago.....in a camper van I will someday get back there and do it on a bike, preferably a Guzzi of course If you get the chance go and do it! This has to be one of the great bike trips in the world, great roads, wonderful scenery, friendly people, and good pubs.
gavo
I also was in the south island last september just beautiful the roads are brilliant unfortunatly I was in a camper. The local brews are nice and happened to stop at a bike friendly pub at Mahone which had the world superbikes on tv. Some of the touristy towns like Queenstown can be expensive though. eas1rider
Real easy to get between the 2 islands, ferrys operate about 6 times a day either way. From Wellington in the north and Picton in the south. Trip takes about 3 hours, highly recommended.
pete roper
Yeah, but if you go to the North Island you run the risk of running into Nuttridge on his Mk II Lemans. Scary I can tell you Pete
