I see in the standings that Guaro was in the race, until the 19th hour where electrical problems killed the suzuki. They were at place 15

Look at the suit:

And the bmw was pushed over the finish, maybe to little petrol?

I watched a bit on TV earlier- looked sunny in Le Mans. BSB at Thruxton on Eurosport 2 was much more exciting- race 2 starts in 20 mins.

Good to see BMW finish 16th place, ahead of many bikes with 30-40% more HP!

I guess they do have an open class advantage, for whatever that is worth.

From what I could understand, Ducati did not do well.

And most sadly, we're not likely to see a team MGS01 competing.

It would take a lot of money or luck to beat BMW at LeMans.

Well BMW put huge amounts of money into this. Even BMW's boss was there I heard. So the walking over the finish line must have given some BMW technicians a heart attack. But it gave them 30 seconds free attention.

Well and if Piaggio would compete there, it would be with Aprilia. Maybe with the new superbike they do it.

For last year they even build a complete new 4v head. That might flow into production bikes, first like the hp2, maybe more in the end.
