Just took it for a blast,a friend of mine has this airplane maintenance shop..i just had to make this pic

Hey Jasper,

You be carefull with that loud Guzzi on Texel, I am not kidding when I say that the combination of sheep and Guzzi doesn't work! The sheep got scared than it scared me and we both ended up in the barbwire! The sheep survived a bit better than the scura, the scura still has the battle scars to show for it! (then again the sheep is probably Shoarma by now!)

I lived on Texel for about two years and there are some good roads amd some nice skydiving to be done there as well!

Ciao Jasper

PS That bike of yours is bijzonder hip!

omg!!...same name ...both drive guzzis...lived on the same (small) island...scary stuff.

I ran over a sheep once with a motorcross bike here on the island... the sheep just f*cked off <_ ..while my bike and me where going nowhere..>

The roads here are just like the Assen track...fast smooth corners.. no speed cameras.. B)

That is a bit scary! I lived in 't Horntje for about a hear somewhere in 1999 and another year in Den Hoorn somewhere in 2001 still love the Island!! ALways used to go back for OUde Sinterklaas (met een fles jutter onder de arm ;-))! I know what you are saying about those roads, nice smooth asphalt and no one in sight!

Cheers

Jasper

Your bike looks fantastic. Bike porn at its finest.

I have a '96 Sport 1100 and want to remove the fairing. I prefer the naked look and also like round headlights. If anyone can tell me what I need to do this, and where to get the parts I would appreciate it. I know I need headlight brackets and a 7" round headlight. What size brackets? I will also need to move the gauges higher, so they need to be mounted on something.

Thanks.

I've been considering the same. I think gauge mounts are trickier than the headlight. Centauro front stuff will fit but is not easy to source. Someone said the V11 headlight bracket and stuff will fit the Sporti forks too.

When you're done you will need to fix the rear too...

Thanks,

Im in south america now enjoying the sunshine. :sun:

The bike is stored on a heated floor in my house... because blank aluminium and moisture dont go well together.. :(

When im back in europe we wil start on the subframe and swingarm.. all the material i allready have so its only a matter of designing and building the d#mn things...
