Question: Change Scura bars for sporty lower bars ?

Dear all

 

I have a 2005 Scura R with the standard bars. I really like the more sporty lower bars you see on some bikes e.g. the V11 le mans I have seen.

 

How do you make the change, is it simply buying new bars or is there more to it ?. Not a mechanical kind of guy normally so apologies if this is a bit daft.

On my 02 Scura I have clip-ons instead of the top yoke mounted bars you have, so I would suggest purchase of clip-ons to suit your fork diameter and then swap all the controls over, then remove the bar clamps from the top yoke.
