Slavomir Musilek (R.I.P.) Posted June 1, 2008 Posted June 1, 2008 Hm... I have V11 '01. When doing TPB I noticed line about hoose connecting two vacuum ports on the valve heads. I do not have this and havent seen it even on never Guzzis. What is the point of connecting these ports? I have searched the forum and service manual but nowhere even a line regarding this "feature or bug". I have this in mind over two days now... So, any explanation? /To prevent some questions: No, I havent read guzziology yet
JoeV11 Posted June 1, 2008 Posted June 1, 2008 Those ports and hoses are for the emissions canister - you probably don't have that where you live. Joe

If you mean the vacuum ports in the throttle bodies, in Europe they are just plugged with screws. For synching you replace the screws with nipples, and instead of plugging them again afterwards you could leave the nipples and run a hose between them. It won't affect running (much) but this way it's easier doing next synch.
