Guest frankdugo Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 saw a referance by steve in a thread.never heard of one & can't find any info. what'sit?
pille Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 its a model that never has been in production! was it 1995 or 96? I think it was a 750cc engine with a single shock on the rear. I think they used the engine for airplanes. the name was IPPOGRIFFO, not ippoROgriffo. I still can see it right in front of me!
Guest britbiker Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 Here - I hope - is a scan of a photo of one from issue 5 of French mag Cafe Racer, dated Nov/Dec 96. As you can see, it's flat-tracker-ish - a sort of attempt at a Sportster using the small-block Guzzi motor. I don't know whether it went into production: I've certainly never seen one in the metal.
Baldini Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 It was a prototype, never produced. I thought the motor was not the normal small block but a different design & used in target drones for air force? KB
