Guest jimjib Posted July 26, 2002 Posted July 26, 2002 I really liked it. The motor doesnt feel as powerful (completly stock) as the guzzi but the seating position is great and the vibration is half of what the Guzzi is. Then we traded back, and i realized how much better put togeather the guzzi feels. Great transmission, easy clutch, better, quicker handling and the motor has a harder hit and revs better. I liked the buell and could see owning one, but the guzzi is way more refined. The buell guy was impressed too.
Guest scott Posted July 27, 2002 Posted July 27, 2002 I'm looking forward to riding the new Buell also. Beside my new LeMans, I also have a '00 Buell Cyclone M2. It has been a great bike, has a rubber mounted engine, and is a blast to ride. The transmission on the Guzzi is much more refined as is overall handling. Like the LeMans, people always flock to view the Buell. I guess I have an affection for all v-twins!
Guest jimjib Posted July 28, 2002 Posted July 28, 2002 this wasnt the firebolt...the thunderbolt..if I have the name right........the gouring job with the bags.
