belfastguzzi
Follow the links to see / hear video. You may need to have QuickTime 7 to see it. We had one day of dry weather this week so I took some time and went out on the Griso with a video recorder, to capture the exhaust sound. There aren't loads of high speed roars as I kept to small roads, where the police wouldn't be. I don't think that they would take kindly to finding a bike with both a loud exhaust and a video camera on it. The ride does show a range of conditions: low revs, high revs, up hill, down hill, level. The sound should be pretty good with decent in-ear phones or headphones, or a mighty hi-fi! There is a short snippet that will download quickly. The main movie is 12 minutes long, so you need broadband and a bit of patience, but once it starts loading you can play it while it continues to download. HaydnR
Oooooooo that excites! Very nice video, it captured the sound great. It opens up the left side of the bike giving full effect of the single side swingarm.

Guzzirider
Nice work BFG. Great sound- also a good demonstration of how hard the 4V motor pulls over 5k revs in comparison to the old 2V.
DeBenGuzzi
THAT exhaust is STELLAR, I wish the griso was more comfortable for my 6'3" frame, I just felt cramped and that was at the bike show on a stand, I don't think I could ride it all day like I would want to

belfastguzzi
Part 2 The exhaust, fitted with a db killer insert. The sound is more socially acceptable and less intrusive / fatiguing. It does lose some presence and doesn't have the same visceral effect, but still sounds good. I wish I had recorded the stock can for a full comparison. I'll do that sometime. QuickTime video here Prepare for a longish download time: I wanted to keep the quality high, so it's a big file. It's the same route as before so that it can be compared to the original straight-through pipe's sound in the various conditions: even has pretty much the same uphill overtake.
