Guest david scott Posted October 5, 2003 Posted October 5, 2003 Anyone with a downloadable service manual or know of a printed manual available. I talked to www.sportcyclepacific.com and they had a reprint but for older sport V11 bikes. Just bought my lemans with 1300 miles on it. Change the gear oil and noticed, as others, it was cloudy. read the threads on putting a rear shield up between the gear and the wheel. Some have noticed the gear oil becoming cloudy with no history of riding in the rain. Is condensation getting in? Thanks much for your help. david
al_roethlisberger Posted October 6, 2003 Posted October 6, 2003 ...I got a photocopied Service Manual from a shop down in SoCal, but can't recall the name. It's marginally useful, but isn't very detailed. But bottom line, Guzziology is better. Go to Amazon and get the current version. The engines and various bits haven't really changed in years, and Guzziology gets updated fairly regularly al
Guest mcloutier Posted October 6, 2003 Posted October 6, 2003 E-mail me you address and I will send it. It's 12.3 MB compressed.

al_roethlisberger Posted October 24, 2003 Posted October 24, 2003 I just remembered and found who I ordered my "hardcopy" V11 Service Manual from: Factory Service Manual $40 from Sport Cycle Pacific al
Guest IanJ Posted October 24, 2003 Posted October 24, 2003 Moto International also sells a photocopy manual for around $30-40. I have a copy of it, and it's not really all that clear, I really need to pick up a copy of Guzziology. For instance, the factory manual lists the wrong oil pan drain bolt for draining the oil when doing an oil change. Yay!
