Tom M Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 It was nice to see Hayden back on the podium for a change. The announcers were going on and on about how this was the worst racing conditions they had ever seen due to the water on the track. I guess they didn't watch the WSB race at Donnington last week. THAT was ridiculous (but entertaining).
antonio carroccio Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 Does anybody know when will be the 250cc race?
GuzziMoto Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 The 250 race was cancelled. It was not the rain, which contrary to what others have said about Indy, but the wind. A major storm (started as a hurricane) blew thru the mid-west and caused a bit of a disaster. Shame, cause the track was great, and the racing promised to be intense. There were some issues with how the event was run, like Ducati reserving a huge area that would have been bike parking (it was on Thurs) but they only had enough Ducatis show up to fill about 1/3 of the space. But all in all it was a great event and I look forward to next year.
