Guest captain nemo Posted October 9, 2003 Posted October 9, 2003 Is it possible to see what map I am running now? In other words, can I download onto a computer the present map? It would be interesting to see what it is since it was tweeked by hand. Then, when I enter a new map I could compare and maybe see in a print-out what it is that I am feeling when I ride the bike.
Admin Jaap Posted October 9, 2003 Posted October 9, 2003 Possible, if you connect the PC to a PC there is a download map option in the PowerCommander software.
dlaing Posted October 9, 2003 Posted October 9, 2003 You bet! But I forget what the command is. upload? download? view? What is kind of cool alternative, is that you can load another map and compare it to the map on the power commander. The command for that I think is 'compare'. It is all pretty easy. Just don't delete the map that you paid big money for at the dynotuners!
RichMaund Posted October 9, 2003 Posted October 9, 2003 Pop the Power Commander CD into your drive and look at the vidoes that show you how to do everything! Great refreshers there and easy to follow.
gthyni Posted October 9, 2003 Posted October 9, 2003 if the CD is old you could fetch the latest version from the PC site bugfixed and updated.
RacerX Posted October 10, 2003 Posted October 10, 2003 Is it possible to see what map I am running now? Cap'n, yes there is, and as Rich M. pointed out there are "how-to's" on the disk. You'll need to first open a map that is compatible with your bike/PCIII in the PCom software, then you will be able (once you're connected to the PCIII) be allowed to "Get Map" or "Get Current". Either will work. Todd@GuzziTech.com 'Certified PCIII Tech' GuzziTech.com
