luhbo Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 Jaap, you've been to Mandello in 2006. I know it, I met you at the GMG, so you definitely should know it better. Ok, I don't like it either, the color is weird, Giallo Giaponese on a Guzzi is tasteless, correct. What I want to say is: these guys always were the nucleus of the tribe, not we, the collectors. They always understood and so accepted Moto Guzzi as a living thing. Can you imagine how I, a cheesy Kraut, felt near them Hubert
dlaing Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 ... should be banned from using tools! I kind of like it. One of these days I am going to hack the rear of of my V11. But don't worry, no ape hangers.
antonio carroccio Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 What I want to say is: these guys always were the nucleus of the tribe, not we, the collectors. They always understood and so accepted Moto Guzzi as a living thing. Héy, I know the guy seating on the bench, wearing a light shirt.
waspp Posted October 12, 2008 Posted October 12, 2008 Channeled hot rod with a flat head V8, thats a diamond in the rough, very cool!
mike wilson Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 Channeled hot rod with a flat head V8, thats a diamond in the rough, very cool! V6. Quite unusual.
Tom M Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 V6. Quite unusual. It's a V8. The middle cylinders share the middle exhaust port.
Lex Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 It's a V8. The middle cylinders share the middle exhaust port. Truly amazing how hard Henry and the boys at Ford worked to insure the flat head V-8 would overheat. Anyway, not my cup 'o tea but I'm just happy to see anybody trying to be an individual. I'm pretty sick of credit card customes, sport bike or chopper. Lex
Admin Jaap Posted October 13, 2008 Author Posted October 13, 2008 ...I'm pretty sick of credit card customes, sport bike or chopper. Lex I agree, that's why I asked for production bikes/
mdude Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 Can you imagine how I, a cheesy Kraut, felt near them Hubert I LOVE ratbikes!!
mike wilson Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 It's a V8. The middle cylinders share the middle exhaust port. Bizarre. Even odder, many of the tuned ones I have found carry three carbs....
