Guest captain nemo Posted October 11, 2003 Posted October 11, 2003 Brethren, Well, I loaded a map for the first time today. Special thanks to Motomonster and his laptop. Also thanks to Todd and Guzzitech. I have mistrals, stock crossover and 'bow wow' pods. I downloaded mistrals, stock crossovers and open airbox. It seems to work very well. I have my big middle back again. In fact, the roads were wet today as I tested it out, and I had to be careful not to spin the tires when the power came on. I will probably keep my stock crossovers even though I know they are somewhat restrictive. I think they must keep the sound down a little as my Guzz puts out a mellow, thunderous note, but not annoying. I also have the impression that changing to aftermarket crossover would only really help out at high speed. Just an impression. In fact, I even think it helps give me a punch in the middle range....maybe I'm trippin. What do you think the trick crossover adds - in the 'real world?'
Guest mcloutier Posted October 12, 2003 Posted October 12, 2003 I added a Stuchi X-over and it improved the mid-range on my bike. It definately does makes the bike louder. I like it.
