Guzzirider Posted November 16, 2008 Posted November 16, 2008 Been a glorious day in Yorkshire- sunny, dry and not too cold- went down to 6 degrees on the tops but that was fine in the bright sunshine. Had a super ride out over Rishworth moor, Widdop moor then back over Haworth moor. Hardly any cars on the back roads. Guy
mdude Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 looks a good ride. up here its -3 and slippery saltcovered roads, so no driving till spring. The Stelvio looks in its element even though it closely resembles a startled lemming when viewed from front....
Admin Jaap Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 The Stelvio looks in its element even though it closely resembles a startled lemming when viewed from front.... With some well placed stickers you could make the Stelvio look like Clarence, the cross-eyed lion!

Dimitris Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 Beautiful bike! It's Black! It's Beautiful!!
Guzzirider Posted November 27, 2008 Author Posted November 27, 2008 Thanks Dimitris! I will be taking her on a camping trip this weekend- wont be as sunny as these pictures looking at the forecast!
Guzzirider Posted November 30, 2008 Author Posted November 30, 2008 Had a nice ride to Dent in Cumbria yesterday and met up with the lads and lasses from Huddersfield MAG. Was really icy on the descent from Barbon down into Dent, and it must have got to about minus 10 degrees C last night, but I knew it would be a bit chilly so packed my cold weather gear. Whenever my head knocked the ceiling of the tent, I got covered in ice because it was frozen even inside. Was very icy this morning too- had a very careful ride home via Ribblehead and the A65. Stelvio was ace in these conditions- there is a lot of feel from the tyres and brakes which makes it less stressful on icy wet roads.
John in Leeds Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 Must get some of those 'good feel on ice' tyres Guy Though about you folks on Saturday night - brass monkey weather brrrrr. nice one
DeBenGuzzi Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 GOD I love the stelvio, seeing it in action makes me want it more. I WILL in fact have a Stelvio TT, you know in 3 or 4 years <_ jealous in the frozen tundra>
tmcafe Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 Super cool! Thanks for sharing. And the Stelvio looks great in black
antonio carroccio Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 ... jealous in the frozen tundra -Ben Yeah, English tundra, you Guy are fricking crazy! Grown up!
