John in Leeds Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 You're mistaken John. That's pork, not beef. Yup, ya got me.
Tom M Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 Motorcycles have been exempted from the tarriff list. http://www.motorcycledaily.com/22january09_tarrif.htm
dabore84 Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 just today on the news, there was an item about protectionism in the usa, because of the crisis. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/worl...icle5653096.ece The 100% tariff is just one of those measures. I think this is not thought out very well and a bad thing for international trading. Good thing they have removed motorcycles from the list.
macguzzi Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Obama is all for trade embargo's worldwide what I wonder is where are you going to get all those US goods made in china. If there is an embargo they can't export any Nikes, Timberland , New Balance, Levi's etc etc etc. Unfortunately for the US we don't need anything from you so the only ones hurt will be the US.
