70's: Focus - Hocus Pocus

I lived just a few blocks from Bob when I lived in Minneapolis. I saw him frequently. I did not know him, though. I regret that.

No kidding! I just read a book about the 'Mats. Bob was quite the character and I really think that his guitar playing made those early albums.

I saw them in Boston and Providence. In Providence Bob was wearing a Tu Tu, in Boston green stockings with no underwear and pilgrim shoes. For their encore he was only wearing his guitar.

They are dutch, and did have a few hits besides Radar Love. They are not in my list because I don't like their music.

If you have time, listen to some of the stuff on the list. Especially Claw Boys Claw, great song.

It's great that the lists extend beyond the same old Stones and Ruttles. I doubt in my life I will ever play an album from either. I've heard both plenty for one lifetime.

I really like Stones, and especially Exile... and Keefs solo albums. But they dont rattle my cage as much anymore.

My other thing is jazz, but jazz and Guzzis dont mix well.

Claw Boys Claws version of "Now I Wanna Be Your Dog" was spinetingling, Jaap!

My, how time flies?

I realized my age when I read in ROLLING STONE a few issues back about the 20th anniversary of the Smashing Pumpkins. They had one song I cold tolerate and I forgot the title. It must be my age?

I do remember this maxim "If it's too loud, you're too old".

Give me The Who Live At Leeds, Allman Bros. at Fillmore, J Geils Band Full House or Grand Funk Live any day. I can't stop!!!!
