jihem Posted December 27, 2008 Author Posted December 27, 2008 Thanks, wasn't sure. I thought the SuperTwin was designed to use the 5 speed, I had not heard that they had changed the design to use the 6 speed box in the newer models. No, the Supertwin is a different motobike than the Monza as it uses the Ghezzi-Brian frame, GB swingarm, Braking perimetrical brakes and the 5 speed gearbox of the ol' 1100 Sport plus, apparently, the cam from the EV... The Monza is a KIT you put on a V11 and as such it retains all motor characteristics of the V11 and it has the following: - Body and front fairing - Front/rear frames - Seat - Lights - Aluminium gasoline tank and pump - Belly pan - Digital dashboard (optional) Various options available. - Paioli fork ø 41 - Mupo fork ø 43 or 46 - Mupo monoshock-absorber - Braking system with Brembo radial calipers - Stearing plates with setting trail - Forged aluminium or magnesium rims - Aluminium swivel arm - Aluminium push rod with uniball
jcbooghs Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 I wish they'd offer a bodywork kit for the Supertwin Steve, if it's just the bodywork you are looking for why don't try here: http://www.airtech-streamlining.com/guzzi/ghezzibrian.htm

The only thing they sell now, as kits do nothing with the frame, so you keep the v11 frame with its geometry. I suppose you can still buy all parts to build a supertwin, including frame, only to get it legal on the road is a problem now.
