My 2001 V11 was parked up yesterday for a couple of hours and some gob*hite helped themselves to the cap from the top of the clutch fluid reservoir. Are these caps a pretty universal size across bikes fitted with hydraulic clutches or do sizes vary? I know I can send off for the Guzzi part but I need to keep my bike on the road in the meantime. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

Forgot to ask if anyone knows the outside diameter of the original cap I would be grateful.

I don't have the measurement for you, but I would bet that any modern Italian bike with a Brembo clutch master would use the same size res.

Just been and measured mine and it's a 35mm thread cap. I you are near an Aprilia dealer then they should be able

to get them. The Tuono looks like it has the same size reservoirs as the Guzzi.

Thanks everybody,I think I will be going down the ebay road. Going straight on after this. It's great to have the help from this board when these hiccups occur.
