Gino Rondelli Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 Right on! NO chance of that in the UK, we are still undesireable to the man despite the acceptability in the public eye
Guest ratchethack Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 Left, right, conservative, liberal,no matter, but all bikers gotta like this, http://www.motorcycle.com/news/motorcycles...bill-87976.html If you actually LIKE this idea, and you can't make the connection between this link^ and the link here: http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?...mp;#entry155816 I feel sorry for you. You'll be rudely surprised, and it won't be all that long from now. Your freedom as you know it today to ride what you want to ride will eventually be GONE, as in PERMANENTLY GONE. Whatever anyone considers their ideal last moto best get ownership of it, get lots of miles on it soon, and maintain it carefully as long as legally allowed to own and ride it, before you're unable to register it, get taxed out of the ability to keep it up, or are unable to insure it -- whichever comes first. You won't likely be any too happy about what they'll be dictating manufacturers to produce and sell here within a few years. At some point, your freedom of ownership will be limited to looking at what you own now (or soon) as a museum piece and/or riding it on private property ONLY, or using it as a boat anchor.
GuzziMoto Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 That is up there with them adding motorcycles to HOV lanes. Every now and then even a blind squirrel finds a nut.
