Bruce Reader Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 I have a 2002 Scura and have just had the speedo fixed and about to install a new speedo cable. Is there a washer that fits on the inside of either of the end collars ? I have a Washer left that fits but not sure if it is supposed to be involved with this assembly and if so -where ? JoeV11 Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 There should be a little washer under the head of the core at the speedo end - you need to pull the core out to install it. If it doesn't fit there it's probably for the sender. Joe

Given the amount of left over parts in my garage I am indeed due for a 6 pack of Bellhaven... maybe even a scotch! Glad the bike still gets down the road. If it's in the garage and I'm still movin', I didn' t need it anyways!!
