New and old rod bearing interchangability

Hey guys looking for a little insight here. I'm wondering if there are any good technical reasons that the older rod bearings with the holes (part number 30062000) can be used in place of the later holeless bearings (part number 01062030) on the V11. The reason I ask is I have a new set of the older bearings which will save me a few bucks. I believe the demensions are identicle. Thanks

No reason at all.

 

A micrometer and bore guages are your friends though.
