Hello - Is the difference in hub sizes between a V11 & the MGS-01 akin to rear sprocket differences on a chain-driven bike?

The MGS-01 appears much smaller (and lighter). If the hub is actually smaller is it because of the racetrack intent (i.e. smaller rear gearing)? If yes, that would offer a profound difference in power delivery for the street, right?

thanks

It just lacks the cush drive, much like the carbed 1100 Sport (1996) that have a similar look.

The mgs has a cush in teh wheel. The housing from the gears is only missing the outer ring, a difference in looks but only 200 grams weight. I know because I did the same to my hub. Gearing at the hub is the same. The MGS has a larger primary gearing. The rest is the same as v11.

I should have stated that my reply was a guess. I usually take pride in separating facts from thoughts. Sorry!
