Has someone already mentioned stuck injectors so far?

no, but over 3g engine runs well?

Well correct me if I'm wrong, but if all trouble seems to be happening under 3000, could it be something wrong with ignition timing? At least with old big blocks you get full advance right about there and the engine wasn't so fussy about few degrees here and there when at 3000 or over, but below that it's a different thing alltogether.
being injected and run by the ECU I doubt timing can get out?

Bad ground? Clean your connections...
would'nt think so or I'd expect issues over 3g.

found a possible loose HT lead and the caps are a bit dirty inside, bike started good this morning and idled good tho a bit low in the revs... its just started pissing down a rather nasty cold wet day Id say so wont get a chamce for a test ride.

There are no bad guzzis, only faulty parts or not properly adjusted engines

Since you have checked battery, regulator, grounds, etc, maybe it needs a good tuning from the start.

I understand that all your problems lie below 3000rpm and at start up,

from that point on bike rides OK????

Oops... not checked battery, regulator, grounds, etc, but will do

The bike had a good tuning from the start last week, is beter but not as good as it should be.

bike rides great from 3g up.

I don't know the history of your bike, but if all parts electrical ....around are OK,

then some simple tuning may bring it back to normal.

I suppose you have already checked 0 angle TPS(150mv+-10).

Could you tell me what is the mv reading, key on/eng-off/rod disconnected???
