Hi all,

I'm thinking about getting a V11 Guzzi - problem is, I'm not sure which one.

I currently have a Honda CB1000 superfour from 1996 (sometimes called the "Big One" - yuk) and have previously had a Honda CB1300S and about 7 different BMW boxer twins, mainly the 1150GS.

Anyway, my problem with most of the V11s is the riding position - I'm 6ft 2 and I have fairly short legs, so I prefer a fairly upright riding position. I don't like a lot of weight on my wrists.

I have ridden a Breva 1100 which was great in terms of riding position, but they're too much money for me. I've also ridden a 1200 sport which was lovely, but it was almost 9 grand!

Anyway, I love the look of the V11 series bikes - which one has the most upright riding position, or which one could I get and adapt with bar risers to get a more comfortable position? Not too worried if it's a naked bike, because I would probably put a small headlamp mounted screen on it to take some of the wind away - not a granny Honda C90 windshield, just a small headlamp fairing or something.

The Cali doesn't really float my boat, nor the variations - Stone etc.

So - suggestions please!

The Ballabio, Cafe Sport and Coppa Italia all have bar risers as standard.

But in any case, you can convert other models which have clip ons as standard to having risers.

Cheers

Guy

Don't worry about bars. Even if you get the ones with clip-ons you can put on ConvertiBars and they can be lifted as hgh or higer then regular bars, as low as clip-ons or anywhere in between (only takes a couple om minutes)
