jihem Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 I fixed the noise problem on ther Ghezzi: it was 99DB with Db killers and I was successful at trimming it down to 95/96 DB so i'll be in Mettet ! Doesn't look like it but getting rid of Db on a bike is about as hard as getting good back wheel HP
jcbooghs Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 That's good news, Jihem. Been there today at Mettet. They are not that difficult on the noise. My friend with his Daytona (Termignoni with db-killers) got several (friendly) warnings. First time was 102db, second time was 106db. But they never took him off of the track. I even didn't get a warning, and I passed the db-meter at full throttle.
jihem Posted July 2, 2010 Posted July 2, 2010 the Ghezzi should be up and running (rear wheel bearings...) so I see you on monday. I'll be coming on the bike, very seventies
Baldini Posted July 2, 2010 Posted July 2, 2010 ..I'll be coming on the bike, very seventies you're an endangered species these days - amongst all the tyre warmers, vans & trailers - good luck, hope you have a great day.
Admin Jaap Posted July 2, 2010 Posted July 2, 2010 See you on monday! Tomorrow last day of testing, chalk up a few miles on the bike, and then ready for Mettet.
