raz Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 It definitely needs an under seat exhaust. Much like the MGS-01 one.
tikkanen Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 Congratulations to you Jaap with your new purchase. Bike looks stunningly in the black/cobber colour scheme IMO. Well done, Dan! Another colour combination could be pearlescent white with BRG contrast pin stripes. I'm not a photoshop whizzkid, but here comes Dan again, inshallah.... Or what about traditional black and gold as seen here on Team Sundance's Harleys? The bikes are named "Daytona Weapon" due to their succes in the Daytona races Søren
Admin Jaap Posted February 9, 2010 Author Posted February 9, 2010 I like orange/black, but dismissed it because of the HD connection...
Dan M Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 I like orange/black, but dismissed it because of the HD connection... I don't think anyone will mistake it for a Harley. Maybe a Buell.....
tikkanen Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 I don't think anyone will mistake it for a Harley. Maybe a Buell..... Brilliant! More or less like KTM RC8 which is a stunner IMO Søren
Guzzirider Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 Brilliant! More or less like KTM RC8 which is a stunner IMO Søren Mmmmm thats nice! Jaap- have you thought about going all the way and fitting a big bore Daytona motor in your V11 to match the new clothes?
helicopterjim R.I.P. Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 I'm not really sure on the paintscheme and the exhausts yet. Suggestions are welcome! You are getting some great suggestions Jaap. I like many of them and I am sure you do too but I hope you keep your choice to yourself and surprise us when the transformation is complete! Perhaps this is the time to really think original on the exhaust - something that would compare to the work of art found on the Britten! Now there is a challenge!
Admin Jaap Posted February 10, 2010 Author Posted February 10, 2010 Thanks for the suggestions so far. Keep 'm coming! - Jim, you're spoiling the fun...
helicopterjim R.I.P. Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 For future inspiration... Now THAT is pretty!!
jihem Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 what about using the color scheme of the Millepercento MGS01 ? Matte green and adding delicately some white would look SPLENDID on your Monza!
Admin Jaap Posted February 11, 2010 Author Posted February 11, 2010 Tenni green only looks good on the old Guzzi dustbin racers. The green Millepercento MGS is just plain ugly... Sorry Jihem...
