I heard a guy the other day bragging that his Harley was so great and so reliable. Then he said that 98% of Harley's are still on the road. His friend replied that that means only 2% of them made it home! Almost spit out my beer trying not to laugh.

 

 

Anyone else got some great examples of interpreting statistics? My favourite goes like this:

 

90% of all drivers believe they are better drivers than 90% of all drivers!

80% of the US population can qualify for a handicapped sticker/plate* (I wish I was joking)

 

 

I would also guess 3 out of 5 are fat, we're a buncha fatties. I blame the beer :drink:
