c20500 Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 Howdy folks, I just jumped 2 decades into the modern era where suspension / brakes work... Just picked up a 2004 V11 Naked with 5k miles.. completely stock with the exception of mirrors and msd plug wires. 1st thing on my list... foam grips and a cramp buster on the throttle. It's a bit buzzy at 4,000 rpm. wish it were a bit louder but I'll take care of that soon. It's a far cry from my 86 LeMans IV but it still has similar character. Cheers. savagehenry Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 Hey c20500, Welcome to the site. You'll find it very helpful, with alot of active members. Pretty much all my questions get some kind of reply quickly. And it looks like you've been around enough bikes to make your decisions as to how much of it is horseshite You and I have at least two things in common. My Nero was almost a 30 year jump in newest bike I've owned, and I still marvel at how bikes stop now that they have brakes as an option!!! And I lived in Redondo Beach too, since I was born there...See ya around, S.H.
