I'd be more inclined to go with an electronic guage as I always feel that the ones that rely on a pipe are fairly vulnerable. It's quite pricey too. You could buy a guage kit like that and a two way adaptor and screw it into the oil pressure sender switch hole for considerably less.

I would be tempted to just check the pressure with a manual gauge occasionally and rely on the light.

I tend to concurr. If you get the 'Flickering oil light of death'? well I have a cure for that but mentioning it will probably start a huge argument so I won't bother :rolleyes:
