Skeeve Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 Pro Italia [Ducati specialists in Montrose (Glendale, really, but waaay north Glendale!) CA] are bringing Guzzi back into their shop after an 8+? year hiatus. They're having an open house tonight at 6:30pm to celebrate the event. Sorry for the short notice, they just sent this out on Tuesday & I hadn't read my email for a couple days... I won't make it; gotta work! [Cut'n'pasted] PRO ITALIA MOTORCYCLES Contact Pro Italia 818 249-5707 | Online Store & Catalog 818 249-5707 Reception for Moto Guzzi: Thursday, 6:30 PM Join us this Thursday evening as we welcome Moto Guzzi back to Pro Italia with an evening reception starting at 6:30 PM. The legendary Moto Guzzi have a vibrant following and a reputation for value, reliability and low running costs, three things very important in this economy. To top it off, designers Miguel Galluzzi and Pierre Terblanche are now delivering new interpretations of classic Moto Guzzi models while concurrently breaking new ground with bikes like the Griso 1200 8v and Stelvio 1200. As always, Moto Guzzi motorcycles reflect the genuine character of Italy and, with the renewed interest in less complex motorcycles, the time for Guzzi is right. They're flat out cool too, just say 'Guzzi', and try not to smile. We'll have refreshments, some Guzzi giveaways for those riding Guzzis to the shop through the weekend (while they last 'natch) and bikes - a 2010 Griso, California Vintage and V7 Cafe Classic and some vintage Guzzis for you to peep. After Thursday night we'll have a Griso 1200 available for demo rides. Join us Thursday, March 4th, from 6:30 - 9 PM to welcome Moto Guzzi back! BTW, you'd already have this marked on your calendar if you had befriended us on Facebook. You also would have seen some snapshots from the Ducati Dealer Meeting that happened on Monday and you'd be primed to find out about a new MV that is looking to be making a very brief (day or two) appearance in our showroom in the very near future. Friend us!
ferguzzi Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 Should have warned you about this. I stay in pasadena when in la and am a regular visitor to the shop.I was there about a month ago and got talking to the owner, a new yorker who basically runs the business as a fun sideline( he has a background in high finance). Nice guy, interesting history, he said the guzzis were finally on the way. From what I've seen it's a good store, nice people, easy to deal with.
