jihem Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 It looks great and sound ominous, but put a DB killer on it as it wouldn't pass the Mettet noise regulation as it is...
raz Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 You've better replace those petite pods with something real, like K&N RU-1780 + RU-0510PR (red Prechargers, other colors are available). Or the gorgeous UNI ones:
Admin Jaap Posted June 26, 2010 Author Posted June 26, 2010 It looks great and sound ominous, but put a DB killer on it as it wouldn't pass the Mettet noise regulation as it is... It's not ready yet. A megaphone type muffler with absorbtion damper will be mounted on the box. Then it should be quiet enough.

Or the gorgeous UNI ones: It has been running great with these filters for over 6 years; no need to change.
Admin Jaap Posted June 26, 2010 Author Posted June 26, 2010 for $65,000 can we have one too? You can even have two!
Admin Jaap Posted June 27, 2010 Author Posted June 27, 2010 Angst? If you want it, I'll include it. No problem!
raz Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 It has been running great with these filters for over 6 years; no need to change. I was more concerned about the looks, but it's a matter of taste of course!
luhbo Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 ... We came up with this solution for fastening tha battery. Because it's a gel battery, this should work. What do you think? Nice one, really. It'll also help to keep yourself mounted during your race days. Hubert
Admin Jaap Posted July 3, 2010 Author Posted July 3, 2010 Exhaust is ready! Great deep sound and definetely not too loud. Just what we were hoping for.
luhbo Posted July 4, 2010 Posted July 4, 2010 A light grey, silvery finish similar to how it's actually pictured would suit the bike quite well I think. Where does this megaphone come from? And I like the blackened "Ex-Box". Hubert
Admin Jaap Posted July 4, 2010 Author Posted July 4, 2010 Megaphone is home made. The end cone was milled by a specialist with the right equipment.
Admin Jaap Posted July 18, 2010 Author Posted July 18, 2010 This afternoon I took her out for her first ride. Great! I was afraid of the seating position, but it's doable, although I wouldn't take her for a +200 km trip. This is how it sounds: A few pics:
mille108 Posted July 18, 2010 Posted July 18, 2010 Me like The exhaust also turned out well, nice deep sound and it looks really good. Are you going to set it up on a Dyno later?,im rather curious about the test results with the exhaust.
