jrt Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 Wow, Jaap, that's really, really nice looking. I'm talking about the bike, of course. That Eagle looks great! She does too, but that's not why we read this forum (with the exception of one thread). Take some video and audio and post it up!!
Admin Jaap Posted January 23, 2011 Author Posted January 23, 2011 Added yesterday: Griso/1200 Sport valve covers. Makes it look a bit more bulkier, I think.
Paul Minnaert Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 I see you still try to compesate for not having a 4V in there
Admin Jaap Posted January 23, 2011 Author Posted January 23, 2011 No need really for a 4V, it's fast enough and the torque and bhp's are sufficient.
raz Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 Really nice! Do the valve covers just fit, out of the box?
richard100t Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 With the serious diet he put that bike on I think it would spank the new 8v bikes in any competition. Btw how much does the bike weigh now with a full tank of gas?
Admin Jaap Posted January 24, 2011 Author Posted January 24, 2011 Really nice! Do the valve covers just fit, out of the box? Yep, but you have to order the plastic parts also.

Baldini Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 ...About 210 kgs What's stock V11 weigh with same gas, do you know? KB
belfastguzzi Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Wow: brilliant! I've missed a lot of this thread so I'll have to go back to see what all you did, e.g. what's the exhaust? Fabulous work and design finish, Jaap.
belfastguzzi Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Does it make much difference to the insurance cost?
Admin Jaap Posted January 24, 2011 Author Posted January 24, 2011 Wow: brilliant! I've missed a lot of this thread so I'll have to go back to see what all you did, e.g. what's the exhaust? Fabulous work and design finish, Jaap. Exhaust is homemade by my brother. Insurance costs haven't changed; I have informed the insurance company about the upgrades. But I'm planning to have a valuation done this year.
Admin Jaap Posted November 24, 2011 Author Posted November 24, 2011 No need really for a 4V, it's fast enough and the torque and bhp's are sufficient. Eating my words... A few weeks back I picked up a Centauro engine for the G&B. Today I received the front-subframe of an early V11 Sport. The cam belt covers won't fit in the redesigned front-subframe from the later models.* This weekend some serious engine cleaning and checking. * Thanks to Paul Minnaert for the tip
Admin Jaap Posted December 3, 2011 Author Posted December 3, 2011 Decided to take the Centauro engine to http://www.motoschmitz.de They will blast the complete engine with glass perls. The bevelbox and tranny also. So coming week I have take these two off the G&B.
