rossi46
Hi, going to change the inlet rubbers, both sides of throttle body, any tips before I wade in hamfisted?

XPLRN
Hi, going to change the inlet rubbers, both sides of throttle body, any tips before I wade in hamfisted? Sooo how did it go?? I've got this task on My "To Do" list.
Skeeve
use a vegetable oil cooking spray to make the throttle bodies slide into the rubber easier. Or better yet, silicone spray: slipperier than PAM, and a rubber preservative instead of a vegetable oil that will just get all gummy when it dries out... Phil Rusted
Also - I have found a chap - Mark Hemmingway at Rockingham Classics and Sports, who have parts catalogues for all Guzzi models and orders direct from the Guzzi factory apprently. Anyway, he is a nice bloke and the rubbers are about £11 each I think. Thanks Phil Rusted
