Under alternator crossover issue

My 04' V11s's under alternator crossover stays quite loose even with the clamps tightened to max. just swivels around. Anyone else have similar issues?

doesn't seem to be leaking at the joints. Wonder if they are all like this.

Last word (Aug. 2008?) was that Todd Haven @ MPH Cycles still had a few of the stainless shims left, but that was a year & 1/2 ago...
