Rear monoshock woes

The used one I obtained from the dealership did not work out well

The Penske shock is on sale this month - 799.

Any thoughts on going this route?

The Ohlins is approximately 1200.

I bought the Penske.

Looks like a nicely put together unit.

The unit is slightly longer(adjusted short as possible). Barely fit. Rear ride height is increased, probably about an inch.

Spring height adjustment requires that one remove the tank, side covers, and air box.

Fourth shock removal,in 7000 miles. Getting good at it!
