Guest captain nemo Posted November 16, 2003 Posted November 16, 2003 Well, I finally got around to two projects today - checking front sag and getting rid of the EPA canisters and lines. I needed the space for tools! Rainy day here in Seattle. Anyhoo, I checked the front sag per Mike's instructions and found: 1. static sag (difference between lifted front suspension and measurement on ground) to be a half inch. 2. rider sag ( difference between reading on ground and reading with rider on board) to be 5/8th inch. Therefore, TOTAL SAG in front is - 1 and 1/8th inch (exactly the same as my sag in the rear - 30 mm). I have no idea if this is correct, but I do know that the Guzz seems to ride and handle well at these settings.
docc Posted November 16, 2003 Posted November 16, 2003 Who could ask for more? Except for maybe a sunny day in Seattle? PS ( Oh, look, I've become a "Forum-a-holic" again! I've just got to get my sport back on the road!)
