Guzzirider Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 Yes after 6 years of service I sold my V11 today. I had not used her since our trip to Ireland in May last year and she was sitting gathering dust. She has gone to a good home and I will occasionally miss her but no point owning a bike which you never ride. If I ever fancy riding a V11 I have Helen's bike in the garage. May replace the Rosso with a track bike in the Spring but am in no rush.
John in Leeds Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 Interesting, can't leave the Rosso festering in the garage. Was it the Triumph that pushed her out?
raz Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 That was the best looking V11 I've ever seen. The paint scheme was so cool on a naked bike.
Guzzirider Posted September 26, 2010 Author Posted September 26, 2010 Yes we had some good times over the years but it was probably falling in love with my cafe racer that meant she was neglected. She needed a few jobs doing so it was a case of either spend money, mothball or sell so due to lack of use I decided to do the latter. We had did have some great times together:
mikie Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 Nice tribute. I enjoyed looking at those pictures.

antonio carroccio Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 Too bad Guy But it's like you've said a bike has to be rode.
Orson Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 Just looking at those pictures Guy I know you really screwed up How many times have we seen people post here saying they rue the day they sold their V11? Nice pics! The bike got around
Admin Jaap Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 Cadwell Park, lovely track! Also for spectators like me. Yesterday I was riding (okay, thrashing) the G&B and I was so glad I didn't sell the V11. What a great engine! especially now it's been remapped.
