Joep Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 Hi, Every now and than I see parts here or on Ebay that I find interesting but what stops me is the hassle with the transport. Has anyone experience with sending stuff to Europe or with receiving stuff from Europe (spec. Netherlands) and an idea of all the costs involved? Thanks, Joep
Admin Jaap Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 I have sent lots of parts overseas. I have always used TNT. No hassles, just bring it to the post office and shipping costs are online: http://www.tntpost.nl/voorthuis/images/IPP%20Kaart%202010_tcm213-513026.pdf

Are there also tax/custom costs involved as far as you know? Kind regards, Joep
Admin Jaap Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 That depends on where you send it. Under a certain amount (can't recall how much) no import tax for the receiver and always make sure you use the word "used". For instance "used motorcycle parts". But there are no guarantees. You'll have to tell that to the receiver before you send it.
